Dormouse Ecology, Conservation and Woodland Management Course

We will look at the ecology of dormice, their conservation and relevant legislation. We will also consider woodland management for the species with appropriate examples in the woodland on the Reserve. In addition we will check some dormouse boxes at Briddlesford and we would expect to see dormice. In addition, we will consider how to survey for dormice and how to set up a regular monitoring site and the requirements both to obtain a disturbance license and a mitigation license.
