Water Vole Officer

We are looking for a Water Vole Officer to coordinate PTES water vole work, in particular the National Water Vole Monitoring Programme.

£28,000-£30,000 pa pro rata depending on experience.

Hedgerow Officer (maternity cover)

We are hiring a Hedgerow Officer to provide maternity cover for up to 14 months, to lead on hedgerow conservation building PTES’ part of the legacy arising from the Close the Gap project which will be complete in at the end of March 2022. Close the Gap is a collaboration with the Tree Council, Moor trees, FWAG and the University of Reading to restore and plant hedgerows and promote their value for wildlife, funded by the Green Recovery Challenge Fund.

£28,000-£30,000 pa depending on experience.

Orchards Project Home-based Volunteers

We’re looking for volunteers to work remotely on a GIS task for the orchard project. It is suitable for absolute beginners or experienced users of QGIS – training will be tailored as necessary. You can gain workplace experience, learn or improve a skill, or simply donate some time. The task will improve our knowledge of the location and distribution of traditional orchards, and thereby our ability to conserve and restore this important priority habitat.
