Shop terms and conditions

You may only place an order for goods if you agree to these terms and conditions. By placing an order you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions as governing your order. For events bookings see the bottom of this page.

Trading

All profits made from the sale of goods in this catalogue are paid to People’s Trust for Endangered Species. (Registered charity number 274206).

Purchasing

When you submit your order you are allowing PTES to use your personal details to fulfil your order. In the event of there being a problem with your order we will communicate with you via e-mail, telephone or letter.

The supply of goods from this site is subject to availability and it is not always possible for us to inform you at the time you place your order whether the goods you want are still available for purchase. In this event, a full refund may be offered.

We regret we cannot take online orders from outside of the UK. If you would like your order delivered outside the UK,  please contact us to obtain a price for delivering your order.

Delivery

From the time we receive your order, we aim to dispatch your goods to you within seven working days, however, please allow another seven working days before querying a non-delivery. Over the Christmas period, it may take up to 14 days to dispatch your goods.

A post and packaging charge of £4.00 is payable on all UK orders placed on this website.

Order cancellation and amendments

Please note that once an order has been placed we are unable to cancel the order or make any amendments to the address or items ordered.

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with any item, you are entitled to return the item in its original packaging and condition for a full refund.

Where a refund is claimed, please allow 21 days for us to refund your money. If you have given a donation in error, please contact us on 020 7498 4533 or email enquiries@ptes.org.

Damaged/Faulty Goods

In the event that any product purchase proves to be unsatisfactory due to defective workmanship or faulty material, you can return it to us for a replacement or a full refund. Please call us on 020 7498 4533 and advise our staff that you are claiming a refund. We will then send you a goods return form which will need to be completed and returned with the faulty goods before the refund can be made. Please allow 21 days for us to refund your money.

Security

When you place an order you will be redirected to the WorldPay secure server who will handle the card payments on our behalf. This ensures that the information you send cannot be read by anyone apart from our ecommerce team and payment merchant. To check that you are in a secure area please look at the bottom of your browser and you will see a closed padlock.

When submitting your order you are confirming to purchase goods and allowing ptes.org to use your personal details for the purpose of supplying goods.

Data protection

As customers are our most valuable asset we protect their details as required by UK Data Protection Acts 1984 and 1998, and under newly instated GDPR legislation. We follow strict security procedures in storage and disclosure of information that you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose information to you. If you place an order and do not wish us to use your details, then you can tick the box which features on the Cardholders Address and Contact Details page before you press continue.
