Progress for Persian leopards

Home // News // Progress for Persian leopards

At the end of last year we launched an appeal to fund vital research to save the world’s last Persian leopards. And we are pleased to say we have had hundreds of generous donations.

Your gifts were put into immediate action with our project in Iran. Leader Mohammad Farhadinia has reported back this new year with their latest developments.

“We had a year full of actions for the leopards in Iran, from satellite collaring to working with poachers to halt their impact on the leopard preys. Also, we had a chance to increase our sites from one to three, across most demanding parts of the leopard range in Iran. Importantly, we have established our website to inform wider public about our ongoing activities to save the leopards in Iran at www.future4leopards.org.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you best for 2017. Our activities were not possible without your support. You can watch a short movie briefing our main activities in Tandoureh during 2016 at
http://future4leopards.org/a-year-of-action/.”

From all of us, thank you for bringing the wild back to life.
