Winter Pruning in the Orchard Workshop

This workshop gives a detailed and practical introduction to formative, maintenance, restorative and disease pruning through theory, orchard observations and pruning demonstrations. By the end of the day you will have the skills to make informed pruning decisions on a wide range of trees. To start the morning you are introduced to all the pruning tools needed. 10th annual national scion wood exchange day

Bring, swap and buy scions for common, uncommon and vanishingly rare fruit tree varieties. Mid-Shires Orchard Group will be on hand providing a grafting service. PTES will be present to offer orchard advice and information about the work we're doing in traditional orchards. We'll also have a lot of varieties to sell or swap. Held again this year at the lovely Buckingham Garden Centre.
