Due to recent announcements by the government, we are not able to hold this event at this current time. We are hoping to postpone the event until early next year and will be announcing when and if this event can go ahead on our website and social media channels.
A day on the Somerset levels culminating in photographing the incredible million-strong starling roost spectacular. The daytime session will focus on the diverse local wildlife which may include otters, bitterns, egrets and kingfishers. Then just before sunset prepare to photograph the drama of the huge starling clouds. Suitable for those with an interest in wildlife and photography at any level.
Leader: Renowned wildlife photographer and author Iain Green.
Itinerary: You will meet Iain near Meare at 11.30am. The event should finish by 5.30pm. Please bring a packed lunch.
Important information: This course will follow the latest Government coronavirus guidance. At all times participants and course leader will be outside and will adhere to social distancing guidelines. Please do not attend if you or a member of your household has symptoms of coronavirus. Please also bring all your own food and drink for the day. Participants will be refunded or the event will be rearranged if the date cannot go ahead due to coronavirus restrictions or should the leader have to self-isolate.
