- - People’s Trust for Endangered Species was set up in 1977 to save our wildlife. We are governed by a board of volunteer trustees and our team of staff are passionate about protecting endangered species and places.

It’s national moth night and this year’s theme is woodlands.

Join us for this special one-off evening event at our woodland reserve, Briddlesford Woods on the Isle of Wight. Learn how to check moth traps set up throughout the woods and identify what creatures you find. Please note you must be confident at walking on rough ground in the dark using a torch.

NB: This event may be postponed to Saturday 21^st if the weather is unsuitable for moth trapping as we would want you to get the best sightings as possible.

Leader: Isle of Wight moth expert Jim Baldwin. Jim carries out moth surveys at Briddlesford on behalf of PTES.

Date: Friday 20^thMay 2022 (with a reserve date of Saturday 21^st May if there’s bad weather on Friday).
