We’re working with Professor Anna Nekaris’ team in Java to combat the numerous threats slow lorises face. One of the largest threats is deforestation and the destruction of slow loris habitat. So with our help, Anna’s running a reforestation project assisting local communities to plant native trees and wildlife-friendly fruit crops in existing and new coffee farms. But, this is just one of the many elements to this project aiming to secure a better future for these critically endangered primates.

You can see how exposed slow lorises are at the edges of farmland. But sometimes this is the only place they can live. Planting more trees in farmland will really help them
