We’re working with Professor Anna Nekaris’ team in Java to combat the numerous threats slow lorises face. One of the largest threats is deforestation and the destruction of slow loris habitat. So with our help, Anna’s running a reforestation project assisting local communities to plant native trees and wildlife-friendly fruit crops in existing and new coffee farms. But, this is just one of the many elements to this project aiming to secure a better future for these critically endangered primates.
Farming is a vital way of life for so many families in Java, so getting their help and cooperation is really important to the success of the project
