Your sponsorship will really help hedgehogs by boosting our efforts to protect them. We work across the UK, supporting farmers and land managers to make green spaces more wildlife friendly for hedgehogs, monitor our hedgehog populations and encourage developers to think hedgehog across all areas of their work.

Your Help a Hedgehog sponsorship

Can you Help a Hedgehog by signing up today? As a thank you we’ll send you a special hedgehog pack, which includes a template for your own hedgehog highway, your hedgehog sticker, a postcard, your own Help a Hedgehog certificate, and some top tips for helping hedgehogs. But most importantly, you’ll be part of our work to save hedgehogs. By giving just £5, £7, £10, or just a small amount each month, you’ll be helping hedgehogs all year round.

We’ve lost 50% of our hedgerows since 1950, roads are a constant hazard, and gardens and green spaces are becoming less wildlife friendly. No wonder hedgehogs are under threat. Can you help save them?

How we’re helping hedgehogs

At PTES we’re dedicated to saving hedgehogs. We’ve put all our efforts into stopping them from disappearing altogether. To save them, and with the help of all our supporters, we’re:

• Encouraging thousands of people to make hedgehog highways, build hedgehog houses and create wild corners in their gardens.
  
• Working with landowners, farmers and developers to make green spaces and farmland more wildlife friendly.
  
• Restoring our native hedgerows, which rural hedgehogs rely on, via our national hedgerow campaign.
  
• Heading up the first national survey for hedgehogs to find out vital information on hedgehogs in different habitats.
