Be a stag spotter this summer

Despite looking somewhat fearsome, stag beetles are gentle giants and need your help. This endangered species has become extinct in many parts of the UK and is declining across Europe, having disappeared from countries such as Latvia and Denmark. But together we can protect those that remain, before it’s too late.

Join thousands of stag spotters this summer by taking part in our Great Stag Hunt. The information collected tells us how stag beetles are faring and helps build a national picture. All you have to do is record your stag beetle sighting below.
