We’re excited to bring you a 1-hour webinar, focusing on our favourite element of our popular Water Vole Ecology and Field Signs course – the identification of water voles and their field signs, habitat, population, behaviour and lifecycle.

This will arm you with the essential basic knowledge needed for carrying out water vole surveys anywhere in the UK. Ideal for anyone with a professional or personal interest in water voles, in particular:

  • Professional ecologists
  • New volunteer surveyors
  • Land managers, wardens, rangers

There will also be time for questions at the end to discuss the training and anything else related to water voles!

Your tutor: Emily Sabin BSc (Hons) MRSB

Emily is the Water Vole Officer at People’s Trust for Endangered Species. She co-ordinates the NWVMP, and advises on water vole policy, research and strategy with NGOs and government agencies. She is also an experienced ecological consultant and has been undertaking water vole surveys for almost 10 years.
