Tenbury Applefest

October 5, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

Each year Tenbury Wells, The Town in the Orchard, celebrates the Mighty Apple with a one day event held on the Town’s Burgage Recreational Area. 2019 Applefest is being held on October 5th, 2019. Over the past years the event has grown from being in the streets of Tenbury and the car park to its present home on The Burgage. Disabled parking is available in the MHDC carpark.

Dogs are welcome on a lead but please remember general housekeeping rules of cleaning up after them and keeping them away from food areas

Each year Frank P Matthews Ltd set up a magnificent display of over 250 different varieties of apples for you to enjoy. Their knowledgeable staff are on hand to talk about them and also apple/tree husbandry to help you get the best out of your trees.

The Marcher Apple Network will be spending the day identifying different varieties of apples bought in by visitors. Please bring 3 of each apple that you want identifying to assist them in making an accurate identification for you.

Bring along your apples and a clean container and the team from Appleteme will turn them into delicious apple juice for you to enjoy.

We have a vast array of Trade stands for you to browse and enjoy …some people have said they like to start their Christmas shopping at Applefest. We aim to bring you a wide variety of products from food and drink through to crafts and services

Throughout the day we have entertainment for you to enjoy – Leominster Morris Dancers, the Bromyard Town Crier, Magician, a selection of classic cars. There are Alpaca Treks with Trevor Hills Animal Encounters.
