- - People’s Trust for Endangered Species was set up in 1977 to save our wildlife. We are governed by a board of volunteer trustees and our team of staff are passionate about protecting endangered species and places.

Celebrating 100 years of St Laurence Orchard, which was planted by soldiers returning from WWI, we will be enjoying apple picking and pressing, music, BBQ, cakes, stalls, orchard tours, interactive art and much more. Suitable for all the family, Southend Apple Day is organised by local mental health and wellbeing Trust Links, who maintain the Orchard with and on behalf of the community.
