Pruning plum trees and other stone fruit

July 4, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Stone fruit can only be pruned in the summer. The objectives and outcomes are subtly different from apples and pears.

There will be an introduction to tree renovation, followed by a demonstration and then a practical session where participants will be able to prune, under supervision, the plum trees in the orchard at Old Hall.

Dr Anna Baldwin is organising and running the workshop so please contact her on email to book a place anna@annabaldwin.co.uk

The course costs £40, there are some reduced cost places available. If you cannot make this date but are interested then let Anna know, as there is plenty of time to organise another day later in the summer.
