- - People’s Trust for Endangered Species was set up in 1977 to save our wildlife. We are governed by a board of volunteer trustees and our team of staff are passionate about protecting endangered species and places.

Come to the National Apple Festival and celebrate the 2200 apple varieties in the National Fruit Collection at Brogdale. Enjoy a breathtaking and educational apple display with hundreds of apple varieties. Learn all about apples, with varieties dating from 450AD, Tudor and Victorian apples, as well as apples from all over the world. You’ll see different types of apple from cider apples to cooking and dessert apples. See apples of every shape, size, colour and flavour.

Try something new and tasty with ‘try before you buy’ rare and heritage apple varieties, fill a bag with your favourites to take home!
