Llanerchaeron Apple Day

October 6, 2019 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join us for a day of celebration of our apple season.

Enjoy behind the scenes guided walks, food and craft stalls and kids activities. Find out what variety of apple you have as Aberystwyth University will be able to extract DNA from a single fruit, a sprig of young leaves or some twigs with buds from this year’s growth. You can bring the newly harvested samples along on the day, having kept them cool and moist in sealable airtight bags or containers. Please note there will be a charge £23 +VAT per tree for the cost of the laboratory testing.
