Heritage Apple Days – 24th & 25th September , 15th & 16th October

Each day visitors will be able to delight in the wonderful  orchards bursting with fruit,  join our expert guides on a tour of the National Collection, visit the fruit displays, try some traditional juice pressing, sample homemade ciders and much more.

Included in the ticket price, visitors will also be able to harvest their own heritage apples and pears to take home*. There are over a hundred different heritage varieties available to pick, something to suit everyone.

These Heritage Orchard Days are a great opportunity to spend time outside with the family  while enjoying some fresh Kent fruit. Visitors will also be helping raise essential funds to save these unique orchards.

In addition to the National Fruit Collection, Brogdale Farm is home to hectares of orchards packed with heritage apple, pear, plum, quince and cherry trees. These provide the fruit for the public on event days which gives people the opportunity to learn about and eat a wonderful range of heritage fruit. Due to changes in circumstances, management of these orchards is under threat and Brogdale Collections Charity is raising funds to protect this important local diverse horticultural resource.

Brogdale has unlimited free parking, accessible toilets, a plant centre and café.

*each ticket price includes 1 x 2kg bag for fruit picking
