- - People’s Trust for Endangered Species was set up in 1977 to save our wildlife. We are governed by a board of volunteer trustees and our team of staff are passionate about protecting endangered species and places.

Apple day events and orchard courses

Join the Park Ranger and volunteers for a look at the bounty of Autumn fruit and fungi and Fishwick Local Nature Reserve. There will be a chance to try some apple juice, freshly made from the reserves’ Golden Spire apples and children could try a game of ‘apple conkers’ . A short walk will include a search for some of the more common types of fungi found in the woodlands and meadows of the reserve. Please wear suitable clothing for an outdoor event. Meet at the recreation ground car park, London Road. FREE
