Apple Day: Little Horwood

October 12, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm

Join local craft cider makers Mike and Barbara Jones for the annual Little Horwood Village Apple Day! It’s a free event for all the family to enjoy. Come dressed to sort, wash, mill, pound and press apples to make juice. Bring your own apples to press and some empty bottles to take home your juice. Try out different apple mills and presses; taste and buy apple juice and locally-produced cider and honey; enjoy the cider-making display and heritage apple exhibition. Hearty lunches are available from 12.30pm, with hot refreshments and cakes on sale throughout the afternoon.

Price: FREE entry
