Apple Day: Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve

October 6, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm

Join us for our annual Warwickshire Wildlife Trust (WWT) Apple Day at Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve. We’ll be helping the WWT celebrate the wonder of heritage apples, with lots of fun apple-related activities. Help us prepare, mill and press apples to make fresh apple juice; explore the taste of different varieties of apple and the juice made from them; play apple games like ‘make the longest peel’ and ‘guess the weight’; learn about local orchards; discover orchard wildlife; enjoy the exhibitions; explore the Heritage Apple display and buy heritage apple trees. Bring your apples to press and bottles to take the juice home or take bottles of our freshly pressed juice away, for a donation.

Price: MSOG volunteers get FREE entry, otherwise usual WWT Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve rates apply: Adults £3.50; Concessions £2.50; Children £2.00; under 4s FREE; Family (2 adults & up to 3 x children) £9.00; Wildlife Trust members with a valid membership card FREE
