DESCRIPTION:There are pressing matters to attend to at Trelissick over Apple Weekend. In fact\, there’s so much to squeeze in that an extra day is required. From Friday 4 to Sunday 6 October join us for a celebration of this seasonal harvest. \n\n\n\n\nOver the three days there’s something for everyone to get stuck into. Friday is our dedicated specialist day where we will be hosting a number of experts who will impart their knowledge to you. Families will enjoy the activities taking place on Saturday and Sunday. Have a go at pressing apples the old fashioned way or learn how bees make their honey with help from orchards. \nDemonstrations\, talks and displays\nApple display\nCider making demonstrations\nFriday – Local cider-maker Jonathon Gould shares his insight. 11am and 2pm lasting 1 hour 30 minutes in the stable yard. \nApple tree advice  \nGrafting demonstrations\nApple identification\nBee display\nFamily activities\nSmall press\nWeekend – Children and adults alike can have a go at pressing your own apples in the orchard. \nLarge press\nWeekend – The garden team will be pressing apples and making delicious juice for everyone to taste. Help us reduce waste by bringing your own cup! \nGames/activities\nWeekend – Archery and apple themed games like scrumping and races through the orchard. \n
