DESCRIPTION:St Elizabeth’s Apple Day\n\nSaturday the 28th September from 11am until 4pm \nCome and visit the St Elizabeth’s Centre for a truly one-of-a-kind family day out. \nEnjoy craft stalls\, games\, hot food\, afternoon tea\, and live music\, and get involved by helping us to pick apples at our on-site 4-acre ancient Orchard\, which you can either buy or donate back to our juicing project. Last year\, over 2\,000kg of apples were picked on the day! \nAll money raised will go to helping some the UK’s most vulnerable children and adults who have severe epilepsy and other complex needs. \nIf you are interested in booking a stall for this event\, or just want more information please email fundraising@stelizabeths.org.uk

SUMMARY:Second Stage Restorative Pruning on Veteran Fruit Trees
DESCRIPTION:A one-day workshop for those with an interest in caring for veteran fruit trees. The emphasis will be on the pruning and care of aged apple trees\, typically those of between 50-100 years of age\, which have previously received some restorative pruning. \nThe workshop is ideal for anyone who has previously attended a course on restorative pruning (you may want to take it in conjunction with the Restorative Pruning course on 20th January) or for those who have trees which have had some restorative pruning in the last 5 years. \nThe workshop will take place outdoors\, tools and PPE are provided.
